Problem
After successfully publishing a package using Dynamic Query Mode in Framework Manager, running a report from the package fails and throws the following: DPR-ERR-2002 Unable to execute the request because there were no connections to the process available within the configured time limit. When checking the Data source connections in Cognos Administration, the user can see that the JDBC connection is successful, however, the package is using a default Compatible Mode connection that was not created by the user. When tested, this connection fails. The package properties show it was published to allow Dynamic Query Mode.
Symptom
When running a report in Cognos 11.0.3, the user gets the following error message:
DPR-ERR-2002 Unable to execute the request because there were no connections to the process available within the configured time limit.
