HC40691: WRITING A CDMA MODEL WITH MORE THAN ONE REVISION FAILS WITH 16274 INVALID ATTRIBUTES

Error description

• Error 16274 witing CDMA model with more than one revision
  
  The CATIA_MODEL table has a C_REVISION
  attribute required for CDP.
  This attribute is part of a unique index on CATIA_MODEL:
  When user attempts to write a model which has more
  than one revision,
  he receives ERROR 16274 INVALID ATTRIBUTES in CATIA.
        ERROR 16274
        INVALID ATTRIBUTES
        INPUT ATTRIBUTES DO NOT DEFINE A UNIQUE
        OBJECT IN THE DATABASE.
  .
  The problem occurs using the CREATE & SAVE icon in
  catcdma and catcdp and using the DATABASE function.
  The C_REVISON seems to not be part of the WHERE clause
  in the write mechanism of related function.
  .
  Note: using FILE + SAVE in CATIA works.
  

Local fix

• use FILE/SAVE in CATIA instead of
  CREATE & SAVE in catcdma / catcdp or DATABASE+OBJ+WRITE
  

Problem summary

• The C_REVISION attribute is requested in the CATIA_MODEL
  table by CDP. It belongs to a unique index.
  But when saving again the model on a part, the
  C_REVISION is not managed as a significant attribute
  and it should.
  

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
    CATIA VERSION 4 RELEASE 2.0 REFRESH 2 GA level  (FREL420R2)
  Now, if the C_REVISION attribute belongs to the
  CATIA_MODEL table, it is managed as a significant attribute.
  This ptf requires to add the C_REVISION attribute
  in the INSERTS_CATIA_MODEL variable in the CDMA profile.
  
  This problem has been fixed on the following CATIA levels too:
  - V419RF1 by HC40593(IX) HC40594(HP) HC40595(SG) HC40601(SU)
  - V420RF1 by HC40686(IX) HC40687(HP) HC40692(SG) HC40693(SU)
