Domino Change Detection Connector Shared Memory Error

Troubleshooting


Problem

On a second execution of an assembly line containing a Domino Change Detection Connector, a 'Shared Memory from a previous Notes/Domino run has been detected, this process will exit now' is received.

Symptom

When executing the assembly line from the Config Editor, a pop up window will appear with the ''Shared Memory from a previous Notes/Domino run has been detected, this process will exit now' message.

Environment

  • Windows 2012
  • TDI 7.1.1.5
  • Domino 9.0.1

Diagnosing The Problem

The combination of the Derby Database and Domino Change Detection manifest the problem upon the second execution of the assembly line containing the Domino Change Detection.

Resolving The Problem

IBM Support found the start up sequence of the Derby Database effects the issue. Support found by enabling the following property the problem is corrected.

  • Uncomment the 'com.ibm.di.store.start.mode=automatic' found in the TDI solution.properties file.
