HD33406: PRC IS OPEN IN DIFFERENT CV5 EDITOR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• PRC is open in different CV5 editor
  .
  1) Logon to EV5 and launch CV5
  2) In EV5 create a PRC and open it in Product Editor
  3) Under PRC insert an assembly part : Assy. Lock
  usage and reference and send it to CV5
  4) Insert a new CATProduct (Prd1) under Assy,
  then two parts with simple geometry under it
  5) Save and commit to EV5. Prd1 has to be saved
  has a black box
  6) Select Prd1, then it to Part Editor and make a
  new evolution : Prd1_new_evol
  7) In PRC insert instance of Prd1_new_evol
  8) In document tab of Prd1_new_evol, select
  document and make new reference
  9) Commit the structure
  10) Select Assy part and send it as assembly to
  CV5
  Result : several editor are open. Only one
  CATProduct should be created with PRC as top node
  .

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 15 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R14SP05.
