Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN
    CATIA
    .
Shell orientation is changed when moving CATPart
from CATIA V5 to CATIA V4 through STEP.
In fact, STEP V5 file is badly interpreted in CATIA
    V4.
This problem is strictly data configuration
    dependent.
There is no orientation modification when doing the
same operation running it on each face computed
independently or using a shell got from a join made
    with 2 extrusions.
PRS closing is motivated by the fact that a
correction in CATIA V4 requires too many impacts
    in the soft.
    .
