Database Configure fails trying to stop Oracle text search job

Troubleshooting


Problem

Receive the following error when running Database Configuration: BMXAA0330I - All oracle text search jobs are currently being stopped. This process will stop after ten minutes if it is not complete. BMXAA0331E - The Oracle text search process is still running. Try again later. BMXAA6819I - ConfigDB completed with errors.

Symptom

The Actual Error is “Oracle Text Search process is still running. Please try again later.” The Oracle job "MAXIMOTSSYNC" is still running after many hours even when there are very few pending changes.
