Error description

  • VPMV5NAV : CATIA FREEZES AFTER SERVER
    TIMEOUT
    .
    Set Up:
    Change the timeout value of Server.
    export SERVER_TIMEOUT=300000(5 minutes)
    .
    Scenario:
    1. Logon ENOVIA V5
    2. Search PRC.
    3. Open VPM-NAVI tree.
    4. Open a Part Instance to CATIA with In Context.
    5. Wait for 5 minutes.
    --Server timedout.
    --Server Connection window is displayed.
    6. Click OK.
    7. Reconnect to ENOVIA V5.
    8. Insert New CATPart.
    9. Sel "Save data in ENOVIA V5".
    .
    RESULT: Server Connection window is displayed.
    Message given is : "ENOVIA server is down
    The connection is broken"
    --CATIA freezes.

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
    VERSION 5 RELEASE 15 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
    ON V5R14SP04.
