Internet Explorer Compatibility View mode causes LMI issues on QRadar Network Security sensors

Troubleshooting


Problem

Users can find that the Local Management Interface (LMI) does not display properly on the QRadar Network Security (XGS) sensor when viewed by using Internet Explorer's Compatibility View mode.

Symptom

A message similar to the following is displayed when you attempt to view the LMI:

Resolving The Problem

You can prevent this issue by disabling Internet Explorer's use of Compatibility View with the XGS LMI.
  1. Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools > Compatibility View Settings.

    Note: Press Alt to display the menu bar.
  2. Clear the check box for the Display intranet sites in Compatibility View option.
  3. If the address of XGS LMI is present in the websites that you added to Compatibility View section, select it and click Remove.
  4. Click Close.
  5. Reload the XGS LMI and ensure that it is displayed properly.
