  Scenario:
  01  launch a CNEXT process in batch e.g.   at -f
  test.sh  22:00 where CNEXT contains CNEXT -
  batch -macro Macro1.CATScript: macro1.CATScript
  builds an empty product
  02  Log off
  03  CNEXT process is launched at 22:00
  --> however it is still frozen until somebody logs on
  the workstation (no display).

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 15 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R14GA AND ON V5R13SP06 AND V5R12SP08.

  Incident Diagnosis
  MANDATORY DISPLAY USING CNEXT -BATCH -
  MACRO. The process hangs when no display is
  available.
  .
  Correction Explanation
  The reason was that the scripting infrastructure
  uses the V5 event loop that relies on X Server calls
  needing a DISPLAY.
  .
  Answer and By-Pass
  Now a new batch mode is available by exporting
  the CATSysForceBatchMode environment
  variable. In this mode, "CNEXT -batch -macro"
  does not need any DISPLAY to launch the
  macro.
  Note that we cannot guarantee that all macros can
  work correctly in this mode, since some
  Automation methods implementation may require
  an available DISPLAY.         513
