Comments

  • THIS APAR IS CONSIDERED AS A SUGGESTION
    FOR IMPROVEMENT WHICH CANNOT BE
    INCORPORATED IN VERSION V5R14
PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SUPPORT DEPARTMENT IN
ORDER TO OPEN A REQUIREMENT FORM.
    .
    Incident Diagnosis :
The user is not able to create a Pad in Part design
with given profile, although it is possible in GSD.
    .
    Justification for a development :
This is due to actual limitation in Part design. An
enhancement has to be done to allow PartDesign to
heal the input and to give a warning to the user
    when the input is healed.
    .
    Answer and By-Pass
For now error message has been modified to
explain the nature of pad failure : from V5R12
    SP07, V5R13 SP03 and V5R14 GA, following
    feature definition error appears :
" The selected sketch is self intersecting"
    .
