• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Run CATIA using following sytax:
  1. CNEXT -object f: XXX.CATDrawing
  xx is dbcs character
  ---> OK: CATDrawing is opened when CATIA
  session starts
  2. CNEXT -object f: XXX.CATDrawing
  xx is same dbcs character as 1.
  ==> KO: CATIA starts and an error message is
  displayed "document not found" directory name is
  badly converted.
  Part of dbcs directory name is same character and
  different point is file name as "jis121" or "jis1212".

Local fix

Problem summary

• 2  If argument of Cnext exe contains 2byte character, CATIA
  Run CATIA using following sytax:
  1. CNEXT -object f: XXX.CATDrawing
  xx is dbcs character

  xx is same dbcs character as 1.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION 5
  RELEASE 14 GA level.
  The method reading the argument of -object
  parameter of keyboard input was not NLS.
  The problem is fixed now. The method calls a
  method managing DBCS characters.
