HD19226: SHAPE DESIGN: IMPOSSIBLE TO CHANGE TO "NO KEEP MODE" FROM "KEEP MODE"

Error description

• < Point of problem >
  When editing a command, a user can be changed
  to "No Keep Mode" from "Keep Mode."Or user can
  be changed to "Keep Mode" from "No Keep Mode."
  .
  < Process >
  0) Start CATIA .
  1) Open the provided CATPart
  Workbench : "GSD"
  2) Click "Split" icon.
  =>"Split Definition" dialog box is displayed.
  3) Change setup of panel to the following setup.
  Element to cut: Extrude.1
  Cutting elements Line.2
  (Please see "CUS5069.ppt" about the exact
  Details.)
  4) Click "Keep Mode" icon.
  5) Click "OK".
  => Split.1 is created.
  6) Double-click "Split.1".
  =>"Split Definition" dialog box is displayed.
  "Keep Mode" is not gray display. >>>This is 1st
  problem.
  User can switch "Keep Mode" to "No Keep Mode"
  mutually.
  >>>This is 2nd problem.
  7) Click "OK".
  =>"Keep Mode" (or "No Keep Mode") is active.
  >>>This is 3rd problem.

  1. When editing element, "Keep Mode" and
  "No Keep Mode" should be displayed as "Gray Out."
  2. After edit of an element ends, CATIA should
  change "Keep Mode" and "No Keep Mode" to

• THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN
  CATIA

  Incident Diagnosis
  A edition of a feature, we can click the
  Keep/NoKeep buttons.
  .
  Restriction Explanation
  It is not necessary to gray the Keep/NoKeep button
  since it has no effects when clickin go on it. At the
  edtion, those buttons are not taken into account.
  Moreover, to be homogeneous with the datum mode
  button (which is not grayed at edition), the
  Keep/NoKeep buttons must not be grayed.

  Do not pay attention to the Keep/NoKeep buttons
  at edition, it has no effects.
