Error description

  • A0 format paper cannot be choosen if using A1 roll
    in PLM printer
    Scenario:
    Following printer has been added:
    - 3D PLM Printer (Printer language HPGL)
    real Printer: roll with 840 mm width.
    .
    Selecting at this printer the roll A0, only a roll width
    of 1189 mm will be displayed.
    Selecting the roll A1 (840 mm width), the paper
    format A0 cannot be selected.
    But that's a bug, since it's possible to print out an
    A0 format on a A1 roll.

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
    5 RELEASE 14 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
    ON V5R13SP02 AND V5R12SP06.
    Incident Diagnosis
    A0 format paper cannot be choosen if using A1 roll
    in PLM printer.
    Correction Explanation
    The definition of A1Roll paper was 840*INF instead
    of 841*INF
    By-Pass
    Use a USER format
    .
