HD13072: CANNOT DELETE MULTI OUTPUT ELEMENT BY DELETE USELESS ELEMENTS COMMAND

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Scenario:
  1. Open the file.CATPart in the GSD workbench.
  2. Click on the "Delete Useless Elements" (Tools /
  Delete Useless Elements...)
  => the Delete Useless Elements panel appears
  3. Click OK
  4. Update Diagnosis panel appears :
  "Translate.1
  Invalid or empty input element One input element
  is invalid or empty; there is no solution for this
  operation"
  5. Click Edit button
  => Question panel appears : "Translate.1 has no
  input. Do you want to remove Translate.1 ?"
  6. Click YES
  7. Click Cancel in the Translate Definition panel
  8. Close Update Diagnosis panel
  9. Update OpenBody
  10. Update Diagnosis panel appears,
  11. Click Edit button
  => Question panel appears : "Translate.2 has no
  input. Do you want to remove Translate.2 ?"
  12. Click YES
  => CATIA gets abend

  Incident Diagnosis :
  Cannot delete Multi Output element by Delete Useless Elements c
  ommand.
  Correction Explanation :
  The problem came from the fact that the elements
  of the multiouput appear in DeleteUseless but these
  elements cannot be deleted.
  Now the multioutput appears but not its elements.
