  • PARTDESIGN / ASSEMBLE BOOLEAN OPERATION
    FAILS :" ONE BODY DOES NOT CUT RIGHT
    ACROSS THE OTHER " MESSAGE OCCURS
    .
    Scenario  (model dependent)
    ----------
    1.Open the sent .CATPart
    2. Click MB3 on "Body.3"  and assemble it
    after "Body.2"
    ==  Error occurs : "One body does not cut right
    across the other one: the split cannot be
    computed."
    .
    Remarks :
    - This boolean operation works in V4
    - Under OpenBody.1, "Extract.1" and "Extract.2"
    surfaces  have been extracted from the bodies
    involved in the boolean operation : the GSD
    Intersection fails between tthese extracts with
    message  : " there is no solution for this
    operation "
    .
    Bypass:
    Perform the union operation in CATIA V4, before
     migration of the assembled solids into CATIA V5.

    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R12SP04.

    Correction Explanation
    Failure of a curve surface intersection in a difficult
    configuration has been detected.
    .
    Answer :
    The problem is corrected : assemble can be created.
