Error description

  • Scenario:
    1. Create
    product
    2. Configure
    product
    3. Create
    Action
    4. Associate Configured product to Action, with
    Modification
    5. Send the Product to Product Editor with
    Action.
    6. Select the Product name in product
    editor
    7. SendTo Zone Editor from context
    menu.
    8. Select Product name in Zone
    Editor
    9. Select Add-a-Zone from context
    menu
    10. Assign Zone an ID:
    Left
    11. Assign coordinate
    limits:
    a. -1000 < X <
    0
    b. -1000 < Y <
    1000
    c. -1000 < Z <
    1000
    12. OK, save zone
    Left
    13. Select Add-a-Zone from context
    menu
    14. Assign Zone an ID:
    Right
    15. Assign coordinate

    21. In Part Left, create a sketch on the XY plane
    entirely left of the
    V axis.
    
    22. Create a pad from the sketch in Part
    Left.
    23. In Part Right, create a sketch on the XY plane
    entirely right of
    the V
    axis.
    
    24. Create a pad from the sketch in Part
    Right.
    25. Save product and parts to Enovia, immediate
    commit.  Close Catia.
    26. In Product Editor, select Part Left, and Part
    Right, and copy from
    the context
    menu
    27. Select the Product and paste copies of Part Left
    and Part Right.
    28. Select all the parts and copies, copy and
    paste.  Continue until
    there are 100's of
    copies.
    29. Save,  and close Product
    Editor
    30. Activate DMU
    Search
    31. Select binocular
    icon
    32. Search and select the Product created in the
    steps above, OK.
    33. Select Zone Filter
    button
    34. From Zone Filter, select Binocular
    icon
    35. On SearchFor, search for the zone Left.   Select
    it, OK.
    36. On Zone Filter, select zone
    Left
    37. Select
    OK
    38. Select Apply Filter
    button
    39. Behavior:  Expected results appear in lower
    pane, including number
    of associated part instances and a list of associated
    part numbers
    40. Select Reset All
