• THE PROBLEM WAS SUBMITTED ON :
  CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 11.
  THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON :
  CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 13 GA level
  
  Incident Diagnosis
  The problem is not reproduced in R13 since
  a R13 development has change the behaviour
  for this specific kind of Copy Transformation.
  
  The scenario now works like the customer has
  expected it to work.
  
  
  Reason
  This CopyTransformation is only having a Tool Path
  as reference (Not a MO): no MO list is displayed in
  the definition panel.
  It have been created using:
  - Tool Path Editor and Cut Command,
  OR
  - V5R8 or V5R9 and selecting more than one MO as
  reference.
  OR
  - V5R8 or V5R9 and the referenced MO has been
  deleted.
  Before R13:
  On this kind of Copy Transformation, changing the
  tool link to it was not allowed.
  mofiing the name of the tool create in the Tool
  change definition panel + enter create a new
  ressource and set it to all MOs except Copy
  Transformation of this kind.
  From R13:
  On this kind of Copy Transformation, changing the
  tool link to it is now allowed. A Tooling tab page
  have been had in its definition panel.
  So the customer scenario now works !
  But the customer needs to be very careful: the
  reference tool path have been computed with
  another tool, if the geometry of the tool is
  modified, it is of it's responsability to check the
  integrity of the milling ...
  On other Copy Transformation (displaying a MO list
  in the definition panel), the tool is still defined by
  the tool used by its referenced Mos.
