HD09102: CANNOT GET DYNAMIC FREQUENCY RESPONSE AT NODES WITH IMPORTED F REQUENCY INPUT MODULATION

Error description

• V5 R11 GA on Windows 2000
  Scenario:
  1. Set up a dynamic frequncy response FEA on a
  single part (run static,
  frequency, and dynamic response cases)
  2. Import Excel file of the frequency modulation
  3. Compute frequency response.
  Problem: The response is always zero at all
  frequencies.
  This analysis works if using the White Noise
  modulation, but doesn't
  seem to work with any imported frequency
  function.

• THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA
  
  Incident Diagnosis
  This strange behavior is due to the model:
  
  This model date from a CATIA level (probably R11)
  in which the modulations imported by files was not
  taken into account (error mentionned in the
  Program Directory). It's the reason why the
  solution computed from Modulation.1 gives null
  results. If Modulation.1 is invalidated and
  recomputed the solution is exact.
