Error description
The option parameter "Do not cut in section views" doesn't work well as the customer expected. In addition, there is no comment in the on line manual regarding how can work this parameter in between 3D mode and 2D. Scenario: 1. Open Product1.CATProduct 2. Click Part1 with right button and select Properties in the context menu. 3. Select Drafting tab and check the box of Do not cut in section views. 4. Make Product1 active and then Select Sectioning icon. 5. Make Volume Cut icon ON and then press OK. 6. Open new drawing file (Standard=JIS,Format=A0,Scale=1:1) 7. Select the menu bar Window / Tile Horizontally 8. Select Advanced Front View icon in the Drawing workbench and press OK 9. Select Section1 in the Applications tree of Product1. 10. Select the yz plane of Part2. 11. A preview will be shown. Then pick somewhere in the white field and then make it fix the display position. 12. Front view is created. Problem: Even though the properties setting is Do not cut in section views=ON, the section view is shown. It is no need to show this portion.

Problem conclusion
Incident Diagnosis PROBLEM OF CHECKING DO NOT CUT IN SECTION VIEW IN A PART'S PROPERTY Correct Application The Do not cut in section view parameter is applied when creating section of breakout views in a drawing. In the current scenario the user creates a Front view based on a part that was previously cut using a sectioning operator. This is different from doing a section view in the drafting. The "do not cut in section" parameter does not apply when building a front view. Documentation Reference Generative Drafting Basic Tasks Creating an Offset Section View / Cut
