HD07350: COPY/PASTE WITH PUBLICATION WORKS NOT CORRECT

Error description

• SCENARIO :
  1. Start CATIA V5R11 GA.
  2. Set the TOOLS/ Options
  3. Open "Publication.CATProduct". It contains 2 components:
  Quelle.CATPart and Ziel.CATPart.
  4. Activate Ziel.CATPart (sel document "Ziel" in spec tree,
  MB3 -> Ziel
  object -> Edit)
  5. Sel publication "customer" in part "Quelle" and EDIT/Copy.
  6. Sel part "Ziel" and EDIT/Paste Special/As Result with
  Link.
  7. Result : Error message "Paste is forbitten:
  Impossible to create an external reference from unpublished
  element"
  =>WHY ? Element is published!

  Correction Explanation
  Problem in CATNavigViewer.
  The copy of CATPathelement must copy
  sons and
  brothers (not only sons like before)
  New development needed for full support
  .
  Answer and By-Pass
  Some pubished elements are considered as
  sons a others elements (here, edge of the
  surface).
  As of today it is not allowed to copy/paste
  such published sons elements. A new error
  message has been delivered to warn the
  user.
  A new development is candidate for a futur
  release to allow copying of such element.
  It is also included in V5R12SP3
  .
