Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 13 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R12SP05.
  .
  Note : it is fixed from V5R12 SP02.
  .
  Incident Diagnosis
  CATIA Abend in case of huge step files are
  imported.
  .
  Correction Explanation
  System goes out of memory ; problem occured
  then in the SDAI memory
  allocator and lead to crash. CATIA now stops
  reading the file if a
  call fails in the allocator.
  .
  Answer :
  A window appears now with " Invalid input file.
  Transfer aborted " message and crash no longer
  occurs because of
  memory.
  Moreover, in the .err text file, a "not sufficient
  memory" message
  is also displayed.
  Please note that the step file is too big to be
  imported into CATIA.
