Problem
The Maximo 7.6 the connection fails when attempting to configure a database with Oracle 11.2 with ORA-12514, TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor
Symptom
The following error will show in the CTGTrace logs
FINE: ENTER^ENTRY^o^{{jdbc:oracle:thin:@//localhost:1521/ctginst1,maximo,Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12514, TNS:listener does not currently know of service requested in connect descriptor
