CVEID: CVE-2015-5039
DESCRIPTION: IBM Rational ClearCase Remote Client and change management integrations could allow a remote attacker to view and modify network traffic to the CCRC WAN server or change management server, due to improper hostname validation of the server SSL certificate. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to impersonate the server or the user.

Affected Products and Versions
Rational ClearCase 7.1.x (all versions), 8.0 through 8.0.0.17, and 8.0.1 through 8.0.1.10.
Rational ClearCase 9.0 and later are not affected.
The affected components are the following, when configured to use SSL/TLS (HTTPS) connections to a server:
- ClearCase Remote Client (CTE, rcleartool, CMAPI)
- Change Management Integrations (CMI) to ClearQuest, Rational Team Concert, or Jira
- UCM/CQ OSLC-based integration (CALAMARI)
- Base CC/CQ Integration V2 (Perl trigger based)
Remediation/Fixes
Install a fix pack containing fixes:
