Publishing of template from upgraded DOORS fails with CRRPE3011E Error in engine

Troubleshooting


Problem

After an upgrade of DOORS from version 9.3 to 9.6 the generation of RPE reports fails with the following error: CRRPE1064I Running DXL: C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Rational\DOORS\9.3\lib\dxl\batchStartupFiles\source\source\DOORS\dxl\doors driver\doorsToXml.dxl. CRRPE3011E Error in engine DOORS data XML file is not found or invalid. This is an indication of incorrect data source configuration or DXL execution failure.

Symptom

The path in the error message still points to the old DOORS 9.3 installation.
