  • DESCRIPTION:
    LAYERS ARE NOT TRANSFERED AFTER IMPORTING A TDG FILE
    
    STEP AND STEP SCENARIO:
    1. Open the provided tdg file
    2. One layer per shpere was created with STRIM
    3. In the CATPart file, all layer informations are lost

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
      CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 11 GA level
      AND ALSO FIXED WITH CATIA V5R10SP04
    
     TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
    An evolution in the handling of the properties had not been
    reported to the STRIM STYLER import, this is now done.
    
     ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
    The layer properties are now correctly retreived
    There is no known BYPASS
