• ABSTRACT:  Special Characters Print Incorrectly
  Problem:
  Have a text box with special characters from the "insert
  symbol" box. The symbols include degree (ﾪ) and others.  The
  text box appears correct on the screen, but when it is
  printed, the text is shifted and large amount of space is
  put between characters and the special symbols that have
  been used from the Catia insert symbol box.

  Incident Diagnosis
  Problem with anchor point of TTF Fonts.
  The problem was due to incorrect bounding box
  values.
  
  Correction Explanation
  The Bouding box errors was happening because of
  incorrect values of box 1  which is a member of
  CATTrueTypeFont class, which was being created
  as decent - internalLeading.
  
  Answer and By-Pass
  The correction involved changing Box 1  to
  ascent - descent. This enables windows sdk
  functions to return the correct values for the
  bounding box.
