APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Scenario:
    --------
      - Open the CATPart
      - expand the Spec Tree of Point.1
      - double click 'H' box, and change the value to '0'
    ====> The circle become half.
    But with other values (2,4, -3), it is OK.
    .
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  •  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
    With the value H = 0 mm, the circle is halfed, which is wrong.
    .
    

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON
      CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 11 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R10SP2.
    
     TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
    The problem was due the degenerated points.
    .
     ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
    No possible by-pass. Anyway, the problem is fixed now.
