HC94573: DRAWING LEADER OF TEXT IS INCORRECTLY DISPLAYED WHEN SAVE AS PDF.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Create a new drawing using ANSI drawing standards. Create a
  Text with Leader. Save the file as a PDF file. View the PDF
  file with Acrobat reader. The leader lines are wrong. Using
  ISO standard, the PDF file is correct.
  Scenario:
  1. Start Catia V5 R8.
  2. Select FILE + NEW and type of file = Drawing, pick OK.
  3. Set Standard to ANSI and pick OK.
  4. In the new drawing, select the Text with Leader icon.
  5. Indicate a position for the end of the leader and
  indicate a second time for the location of the text.
  6. Enter any text and select OK.
  7. Indicate to complete the text entry.
  8. Select FILE + SAVE AS
  9. From the Save As dialog box, select Save as type and set
     this to PDF.
  10. Select the SAVE button.
  11. Open the Drawing1.pdf file just created in Acrobat
  reader and take note of the leader lines.
  12. Back in the Catia session, select FILE + PAGE SETUP.
  13. In the Save As dialog box which appears, change the
  standard to ISO.
  14. Now repeat steps 8, 9, 10, and 11. The leader lines are
      correct in the ISO standard.
  15. Repeating steps 12 and 13 but switch the standard to
      ASME will show erroneous output also.

  Problem in the PDF generation of the Area Fills.
