Error description

  • PART / LINK IS BROKEN WHEN DRAG/DROP.
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1) start Catia V5 R16 SP05 HF07
    make sure that the option "Enable Drag Drop for
    Cut, Copy,
    Paste use." is switched to on (in tab "General" of
    Tools .
    Options )
    2) open BROKEN_CCP-
    LINK_OF_PUBLISHED_PARAMETERS.CATPart
    3)create a new CATPart document.
    4)select Window. Tile Vertically
    5) switch to the sent CATPart
    6) select the Publication ""String.1""
    7) choose MB3 --> Copy
    8) switch into your new CATPart
    9) paste this published Parameter with the option
    As Result
    With Link ( MB3 --> Paste Special... )
    10)switch into the sent CATPart
    11)edit parameter of the original one in the sent
    CATPart,
    like described in sent 'Broken_CCP-Link_2.jpg'
    12)The new CATPart detects the change, demands
    from an Update
    and after that the linked Parameter will be
    synchronize ᄄ
    13)switch again into the new CATPart
    14) select the linked Parameter and try to drag it
    with MB1
    result
    - the link of the Parameter has been broken
    - the information in the Bracket has been lost
    - and Edit .Links... declares that there are no
    external
    links anymore .
