Guardium aggregation error in agg_progress.log "Error - Failed creating Today's tables"

Troubleshooting


Problem

During the midnight processes on a Guardium aggregator the message appears in the agg_progress.log: copy table failed (agg_today) - target table

doesnt exist.

Symptom

Example error from the agg_progress.log:


      * 01/03 00:02:09 --- Creating today's tables - START
     * 01/03 00:02:18 --- copy table failed (agg_today) - target table 'GDMS.MESSAGE__N__20160103__coll123_317289' doesn't exist (1)
     * 01/03 00:02:49 --- Creating today's tables - FAILED ( MESSAGE)
         * 01/03 00:02:49   ~ ERROR: Failed creating Today\'s tables

Later in the day a merge runs successfully with messages in agg_progress.log e.g.

    * 01/03 04:00:40 --- AGG_MERGE Verification                          
     (agg_create_turbine_ref.sh) - DONE                                    
     * 01/03 04:00:43 --- Create REF_DB - already exists, nothing to do    
     * 01/03 04:00:43 --- Creating today's tables - START                  
     * 01/03 04:00:55 --- Mounting new entry

     * 01/03 04:00:55 --- Creating today's tables - Already exist
