    SELECTED FOR POSITIONAL TOLERANCE OF
    MULTIPLE TARGETS
    .
    Scenario:
    0) Start CATIA V5R16SP2.
    1) Open the file : "CATPart". WB : "Functional
    Tolerancing and Annotation".
    2) Expand "Geometrical Tolerances" on the
    tree. "Position.1" and "Position.2" are displayed on
    the tree.
    .
    // In case where the target is one. //
    3) Double-click "Position.2". (Please confirm that
    the target is one.) "Geometrical Tolerance" dialog
    box is displayed. "Tolerance Zone" tab can select.
    (This is the right behavior.)
    4) Click "Cancel".
    .
    // In case where the target is multiple. //
    5) Double-click "Position.1". (Please confirm that
    the target is multiple (Pattern)) ."Geometrical
    Tolerance" dialog box is displayed. "Tolerance
    Zone" tab can not select. This is problem.

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA
    VERSION
    5 RELEASE 18 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE
    FIXED ON V5R17SP04.

    Incident Diagnosis
    .
    There was a computation error related to
    Tolerance zone availability, when selecting
    multiple targets (Pattern threads).
    .
    Correction Explanation
    .
    Correction has been provided to get the
    correct result of tolerance zone availability,
    when selecting multiple targets (Pattern
    threads).
    .
    Inorder to get the correction, part needs to
    updated.
    e.g. Edit Volume Extrude + OK
    .
