Error description

  • INTEROP LCA - CV5 (EHA) Linking backshell with
connector in GBN black box leads to publications
    exposed at BB level
    .
    1) In ENOVIA LCA create a new PRC. Add a
component assembly node under the PRC and load
    it in CATIA V5.
    2) In CATIA V5 create a new product under the
    opened component assembly node.
    3) Define the new product as a GBN
    - workbench Equipment & Systems / Electrical
Harness Discipline / Electrical Harness Assembly
    - Select "Geometrical Bundle" icon, indicate the
new created product to define it as GBN.
    4) Under the GBN node place a connector
    - Insert "Existing Component" and Select connector
    5) Under the GBN node place a backshell
    - Insert "Existing Component" and Select backshell
    6) In CATIA V5 Link the connector with the
    backshell
    - Change workbench to Equipment & Systems /
Electrical Harness Discipline / Electrical Assembly
    Design
    - Select "Connect Electrical Devices" icon
    - Select connector and select backshell
    .
At this stage the publication participating in the
linking of the two components appear at the GBN
level. This should not happen as the link is internal
    to the GBN black box.
