HD59401: SMARTEAM DOESNOT REMEMBER WORKSPACE SETTINGS

Error description

  • SMARTEAM doesnot remember workspace settings
    Scenario:
    1. Have environment with few Workspaced defined.
    2. Open SMARTEAM.
    3. Set a Default local work directory.
    4. Close and Open SMARTEAM again.
    5. Switch to any Workspace.
    ==> can see the recentCatalog.xml with all
    Workspaces defined.
    6. Open CATIA. Do not connect to SMARTEAM.
    7. Create new file and save locally to disk.
    8. Now do Connect to SMARTEAM.
    ==> KO: recentCatalog.xml is overwritten, so ALL
    Worspaces settings are deleted from the file.
    If user is now do: check out operation, Destination
    folder would be empty.

  • THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN
    SMARTEAM.
