Select Product1 with MB3 and choose New Product from contextual menu. Product2 is Inserted. 3. Select Product2 with MB3 and choose New Part from contextual menu. Part1 (Part1.1) is Inserted. 4. Select Product2 with MB3 and choose New Product from contextual menu. Product3 is Inserted. 5. Select Part1 with MB3 and Copy from contextual menu. 6. Select Product3 with MB3 and Paste it twice. Inserted Part1 (Part1.1) and Part1 (Part1.2). 7. Connect SMARTEAM by User1. 8. Select SmarTeam - Save. 9. Select SmarTeam - Life Cycle - Check-In and Click OK. . Operation of User2 (Machine2) 10. Start SMARTEAM Editor and Login with User2. 11. Open for Edit Product3 (Copy on all other files). 12. Delete Part1(Part1.1). 13. Insert a New Part2. 14. Check-In Product3. . Operation of User1 (Machine1) 15. From Smarteam,open Product1 16. Select SmarTeam - Collaboration - Global Refresh. Only one instance of Part1 must be in Product3 but two exist in the tree. .

Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 18 GA level. NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R17SP04 AND ON V5R16SP09. Incident Diagnosis Corrupted data after a Replace of a Product by another one that have same identifiers. Correction Explanation Synchronization is done after the loading of the new replacing product in order to avoid corrupted data .
