  2. In Tools/Options/ Drafting/ Annotations and
  Dressup/  check PartNumber for 3Dassociativity.
  3. Create a CATProduct with at least two parts.
  4. Create a new drawing  with one view of this
  product.
  5. Try to generate balloons on this view through
  Insert - Generation - Balloon Generation.

  Balloons are not generated.

  On R17 GA and below levels the balloons
  were generated without any error message.

  On R17 SP01 and above levels no balloons
  were generated giving a message:
  "Make sure that your assembly components
  are numbered"

  CORRECTION EXPLANATION:
  .
  The generation of balloon should take into
  consideration the 3D associativity option
  selected.
