• 3DCOM:CATIA V5 DOES NOT START FROM 3DCOM
  .
  Scenario:
  .
  Before runing the scenario, you have to define
  the"CV5_LaunchingCommand" variable. This variable
  defines the command used to
  start Catia from 3DCOM.
  .
  To do that, add the two following lines in the
  download_13.properties file located
  in .../solaris_a/docs/webstarter/solaris_a directory
  .
  ########
  CV5_LaunchingCommand=/logiciel/ct5integ/conf/con
  f_s8/bin/startv5 -config cfg_3dcom -env 3DCOM
  (adapt this line to your configuration).

  export CV5_LaunchingCommand
  ########
  Now, start 3DCOM
  .
  1- Do a query in order to search for a VPM Part
  containing a V5 CATPart. Add it to a Workbook.
  2- Expand the Part. From the Contextual menu of
  its CATPart,select the function "Catia V5/Load".
  .
  Result: Error message "Problem while starting Catia
  V5". The BAckBone process does not start; Catia V5
  does not start, too.
