Error description

  • XPSP2:CATSysdemon error after starting + exiting
    from CATIAV5 with a specific environment calling
    CATSysdemon (such as 3DCOM).
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1- Kill CATSysDemon.exe in task Manager.
    2- Disable Backbone service
    3- Start CATIA V5 with an environment which
    starts the CATSysdemon (3DCom for example)
    4- Verify that CATSysDemon has started in Task
    Manager
    5- Close CATIA
    PROBLEM:
    Five minuts after CATIA closure, warning message
    appears from Microsoft explaining that the
    CATSysdemon did not close correctly.

    Note that this problem is also not reproducible on
    V5R16SP5.
