Error description

• ITEV5CV5 / ENOVIA CONNECTION IS LOST ON
  USING REUSE PATTERN IN ASSEMBLY
  SCENARIO:
  1. Start CATIA V5 and Enovia LCA
  2. In LCA, Open the Part editor and search for the
  Product test-01
  3. Send the Product to CATIA V5
  4. In CATIA, enter the Assembly design Workbench
  5. Expand the Specification tree
  6. Select the Circular Pattern in the Part
  7. Using CTRL key select the Part
  8. Click on the Reuse Pattern command
  9. Check the two options
  10. Click OK to create the Assembly Pattern is
  created.
  11. Save the Product to LCA
  12. Edit any of the offset constraints. Ex. Change
  the value of Offset.5 to 5mm.
  13. Save the product again to LCA
  14 Now Repeat steps 6 to 10 to create another
  Assembly Pattern using the Rectangular Pattern
  and the Part
  15. Another Assembly pattern is created.
  16. Save the product to LCA and close it in CATIA.
  17. In LCA, Select the product from the part editor
  and send it to CATIA V5.

  OBSERVATION:
  An Error occurs ﾨ You have lost connection with the
  ENOVIA Server. Click OK to exit.
  On CATIA side too you get the same Error
  message saying that the ENOVIA LCA connection
  was lost while saving.
  .
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  The Connection should not be lost on saving and
  the Product should be successfully saved in LCA
  and loaded in CATIA.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 18 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R17SP01 AND ON V5R16SP07.
