    .
    DESCRIPTION:
    Scenario:
    Create a Visio document (Start + Programs +
    Microsoft Office + Visio Standard 2003)
    Save it on your Local Disk
    In ENOVIA, select ENOVIA Home icon
    Expand Content Management
    Select Documents + RMB + Activate
    In Content Management Startup Selection window,
    select Create a New Document
    Select OK button
    Fill in the mandatory attributes
    Scroll down and select On Local Machine and Check
    in Existing File and select Browse
    Navigate to your Visio document and select OK
    Select OK
    Lock the document and expand
    Select the Visio document + RMB + Send To +
    Open(Visio)
    .
    Expected result:
    The Visio document opens
    .
    Actual result:
    Microsoft Office Visio error displays an xml error
    (see Attachments)
    Please, note, that the file extension displayed in the
    error window is .vdx instead of .vsd
    The second attachment is a Trace File obtained
    using the following trace options:
    DesktopDoc DDManager
    Please advise if another trace option(s) should be
    used instead or in addition.
    Screen shot and trace in the attachment.

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
    VERSION 5 RELEASE 18 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
    ON V5R17SP01.

    Correction Explanation:
    The extension being picked for the portal URL was
    the first in the list. The logic was modified to match
    the extension from the list of mimetypes available
    and use the extension of the checked-in file for
    building the portal URL.
