FACTORIZED MATRIX COMPUTATION ERROR ON USING RIGID SPRING VIRTUAL PART . SCENARIO (Refer the ppt for more details) 1.The following specifications are defined: Analysis Connections, Properties, Restraints, Loads. 2.Read "Error_TEST_R16 xxxxx.CATAnalysis" 3.Modify global mesh size value from 6.26 to 6.25 in OCTREE Tetrahedron Mesh1:Part1/Nodes and Elements. 4.Click Compute icon, and select the All option in the Compute dialog box and click OK. 5.As a result an error dialog box below appears, and computation stops. . (R16SP3:OK/R16SP4:KO) Spring analysis performs this analysis operation to suspension parts. It means that this cannot perform analysis calculation of a suspension. .

THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 17 GA level. NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R16SP05. . Incident Diagnosis We have a factorized matrix computation Error on using Rigid Spring Virtual Part. The Rigid Spring Virtual mesh part has a node different with second node of null size bar that modelize the point support. This node generete a singularity. .
