Error description

  • VISUALIZATION / DISPLAY OF ICON IN DROP
    DOWN MENU IMPACTED WHEN ICON IS CHANGED.
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1.Create a bitmap image of the icon and keep it in
    a particular location
    2. In the env file for CATGraphicpath, give the path
    of this icon
    3. Start CATIA.
    4. Go to Tools/Customize/commands
    5. Pick the Angle command of Assembly design
    workbench, constraints toolbar.
    6. Click on show properties
    7. In command properties, click on browse icon
    8. Select the bitmap image.
    9. Go to assembly desing workbench and into the
    Insert Menu.

    OBSERVATION:
    The icon is added, however the icon appears cut,
    either on top or bottom. The icon size is large,
    however the text is small, resulting in matching
    problem.
    .
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The size of the icon should be accommodated also
    the gap between two commands should be
    adjusted so as to match the icons properly with the
    command name.

    MODIFICATION:
    It is recommended to provide command icons in
    two different sizes which are to be stored into the
    corresponding directories (as explained above):
    .
    small: 16x16. This size is always used in menus. It
    is used in toolbars if the Large Icons check box is
    cleared in the Options tab
    .
    normal: 22x22. This size is used in toolbars if the
    Large Icons check box is selected in the Options
    tab.
