THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE ANOTHER SYMPTOM OF THE PROBLEM REPORTED IN HD51414. . Incident Diagnosis FSS DISTANCE ANALYSIS TEXTURE IS DISARRANGED WHEN VARIABLE OFFSET IS ANALYSED . Development Request Justification: Documentation : FreeStyle Shaper, Optimizer & Profiler Analyzing Distances Between Two Sets of Elements . The texture mapping is computed on the discretized surface. It is not advised to use it with planar surfaces or ruled surfaces . When applying a mapping texture on a planar (and rectangular) surface, there are only 4 points of computation for the distance (the computation is done on nodes of triangles of a tesselation made on visualization criterion), if for some precision reason or another, one point or more does not have a normal projection, it could give erroneous result (with the interpolation of colours made by the graphic card) That's why it is strongly advised to not use texture mapping on planar surface. . Answer and By-Pass none. .
