Error description
FTA - The problem is that multiple vertexes are highlighted when the 1 vertex in the "Sketch" is selected by "Dimensions". Scenario: 1) Select "Tools" / "Options" by menu bar. 2) Select "Functional Tolerancing and Annotation" 3) Select "Tolerancing" tab. 4) Activate the "Non-semantic dimension creation allowed". 5) Click "OK". 6) Open the CATPart file - Workbench FTA 7) Click "Dimensions" icon. 8) Select 1 vertex in the "Sketch.1" on the geometry area. The vertex which has not been selected is highlighted too : this is problem. 9) Select "Point.1". Dimension is created to other vertex location. Result : Multiple vertexes are highlighted when the 1 vertex in the "Sketch" is selected by "Dimensions". So the dimension of expectation is not created. Expected result : The only selected vertex should be highlighted when the 1 vertex in the "Sketch" is selected by "Dimensions". .

Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA Incident Diagnosis When selecting a point, both points are selected Restriction Explanation The problem is that, internal vertices are identified by their neighbor edges (or faces in surface objects) Here, all the limit elements are the same, so points can not be selected separately. The same thing applies on vertices of a volume if an extrude is made from this sketch: top vertices can not be selected separately. By-Pass Split one of the two sketch elements into two elements. .
