Troubleshooting
Problem
Customer wants to run more than one consolidation simultaneously, so has enabled multiple batch services.
- They have also enabled 'CONSOLOCKPERIOD'.
User (for example ADM) creates a consolidation job to run immediately.
- Immediately afterwards the same user (for example ADM) creates a second consolidation job to run immediately.
- Therefore, these two jobs therefore run in parallel.
Afterwards, user looks in the batch queue. One of the jobs 'Finished with error'.
- Double-clicking on the job gives more detail on the failure.
Symptom
