Error "Failed to check license status from license service" is received while updating SiteProtector

Troubleshooting


Problem

Users may experience "Failed to check license status from license service" errors when attempting to apply updates in SiteProtector.

Symptom

The update process for the SiteProtector components is cancelled and the Apply Update Wizard will show the following error:
