Error description

• 3DCOM viewer doesn't recognize the update of a
  CatPart done via VPM
  .
  Scenario:
  1. Start 3Dcom
  2. Call any CATPart in local 3D View
  3. Start CATIA
  4. Back again in 3Dcom, load the same in CATIA
  V5 : now in CATIA V5 as well as in 3Dcom the
  same CATPart has been loaded.
  5. In CATIA V5 make an update of CATParts and
  save it to VPM
  6. Change to 3Dcom
  7. Call again the updated CATPart in local 3D
  View : The update won't be recognized in 3Dcom.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 17 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE
  FIXED ON V5R16SP03.

  Incident Diagnosis :
  3DCOM viewer doesn't recognize the update
  of a CatPart done via VPM.
  .
  Correction Explanation :
  The cgr created in the Cache was not
  updated when a model was opened from
  VPM database. Now, correction allows this
  update.
  .
  By-Pass :
  Delete the cache and reload the Part
  .
  Important information :
  Correction is available on R16 SP levels
  upper than SP3 only if you use "complete"
  configuration during 3dcom installation.
  Due to packaging delivery, correction if you
  use "custom" configuration during 3dcom
  installation is only available on R17GA.
