HD46819: VB API FOR INTERACTIVE APT GENERATION DOES NOT USE USER CATSE T TINGS

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• VB API for interactive APT generation does not use
  user CATSettings.
  .
  When using VB API ManufacturingAPTGenerator in
  a VB program, the API does not read user
  CATSettings. This situation lead to uncontrolled
  output generation and it creates bad output that
  can produce scrap. Please correct it by having it
  reading user CATsetting. See attached VB script.
  .
  The purpose of using this function is because
  this processing is a lot faster than Batch APT
  processing and it reduce significantly the APT
  processing.
  .
  Scenario:
  1-Copy the script from "vba code.txt" file into a
  CATVBA macro
  2-Open the attached catprocess
  3-Run the interactive apt processing. Set the
  parameters home point from machine and all the
  PPRINT output to none and execute to create APT
  4-Run VBA macro to create the APT file and look at
  the difference.
  The VBA macro does not use the user CATsettings.
