Error description
Problem Description: 1. Insert a new CATProduct. 2. Place equipment and route the runs. 3. Place a tube on the run(s). 4. Click on Create Tubing spool icon. 5. Click New. Name the spool. Select the tube from the PST. Click OK 6. Click Close. The spool is now created. 7. Right click on the spool and select Properties. 8. Select the Tube tab and fill in the attributes for the spopl click OK 9. Click Transfer elements icon. 10. Click Select spool(s) to transfer. 11. Pick Spool_1. Click OK. 12. Elements transferred are displayed. Click OK. 13. The new CATProduct is created. Expand the new CATProduct and RMB on the spool. Select properties 14. The Tube tab is not displayed to show the spool attributes.

Scenario: Please refer to PowerPoint attached to Vendor Communication for step-by-step scenario. File CCCM00106711.zip ftp'ed as 00009544.411A Material will be available in the following directory : AIX : /s/maint5/db/c000/pmr00009544.411 The customer has officially submitted a CRITSIT for V5R16 GA. HD44803 has been created. It has been reported against V515 and upper levels. When APAR - HD44803 is closed, a follow up call will be created on queue USW9CD,16U. APAR HD44803 which was subscribed to by Lee, Shirley C has now been closed. APAR HD44803 IS CLOSED PER SEV1 PROBLEM SUMMARY: Using Transfer elements Tubing function, transferred spool does not transfer Spool attributes associated with tube CUSTOMER UPDATE Scenario failed in Customer IT (its4) on R16SP0 HF2. Tested by Bruce B. R16 GA HF2 FAIL TEST CUSTOMER UPDATE Failed at WorkPlace V5R16SP1 D41 and at Customer V5R16 HF2 as noted: Tubing spool tab lost Message from DSA: Can you please give details of how the scenario failed. In our case the scenario did not fail after we installed the HotFix2 on R16GA. Could you please tell me if you see the Tube tab in the properties panel of the Spool after doing transfer Elements command on the Spool? Is any specific attribute is not getting transferred or you still don't see the "Tube" tab at all. Thanks. Problem conclusion
THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION 5 RELEASE 17 GA level. NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R15SP05 and V5R16SP02. .
