  SCENARIO:
  1. Open CATIA R14SP04 and Select the HD2
  License.
  2. Restart CATIA.
  3. Make a surface and a line in GSD and save the
  part
  4. Select the FMS license.
  5. Restart CATIA.
  6. Go to Advanced surface meshing WB.
  7. Open the CATPart.
  8. Mesh the surface.
  9. Click on Extrude Icon.
  10. Try to select the Mesh, either through the
  specification tree or the geometry area.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION
  5 RELEASE 16 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED
  ON V5R15SP04 AND ON V5R14SP08.

  INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
  Extrusion of 2D mesh is no more possible with only
  FMS licence
  .
  TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE CORRECTION:
  Licensing has been modified to correct the problem
  .
  ANSWER AND POSSIBLE BY-PASS:
  by pass: it is possible to extrude 2D mesh with FMD
  license
  .
