• LDAP Invalid Credentials
  Environment:
  Client OS and level: Win 2k
  Server OS and level: Win 2k Server
  Database and level: Oracle 9.2
  Scenario:
  Check Attached PDF for complete scenario.
  1. IBM LDAP enviroment. Customer is usin Lotus
  Notes for users administration.
  2. Defined the Mapping: System Configuration
  Editor -> Applications -> Administrative Tools ->
  LDAP User Import -> LDAP Field Name: Account
  Name
  -> Defined as DOMAIN = ShortName (this is the
  login they use on LDAP).
  3. Import LDAP Users.
  4. Imported LDAP Users succesfully
  5. Authentication Manager -> LDAP -> We
  extracted
  from Lotus the parameters we think documentation
  asks for (as it is not completely clear).
  6. When trying to login to any SmarTeam tool, with
  same user we used to import users, we get:

  Illegal Login 'dgarnero'. Access has been denied.
  Reason: An error occured while creating a user
  session. Reason: Cannot connect to LDAP server :
  Invalid Credentials
  7. We tried different parameters, but whole tests

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON SMARTEAM
  VERSION 5 RELEASE 17 SP1.
